Important Notice: VS Code gives you the option to install Microsoft and third party extensions. This will silence all telemetry events from VS Code going forward.
If you don't want to send usage data to Microsoft, you can set the telemetry.telemetryLevel user setting to off.įrom File > Preferences > Settings (macOS: Code > Preferences > Settings), search for telemetry, and set the Telemetry: Telemetry Level setting to off.
